mp technology supports smarterion in the launch of luxKit – the world’s first LED modular system with a digital planning app
mp technology is pleased to accompany the market launch of luxKit (www.luxkit.com), an innovative and globally unique LED modular system from smarterion, with a mobile app for digital planning, configuration, and ordering.
Smarterion (www.smarterion.com) is an international company in LED lightning design, headquartered in Switzerland, and a leader in the realization of complex LED lighting solutions. In autumn 2024, smarterion introduced luxKit to the public – an innovative, globally unique LED modular system. The luxKit system allows electricians to easily and quickly plan LED lightning digitally using a mobile app, order them directly online from electrical wholesalers, and install them efficiently on-site at the customer’s premises. The modular system offers numerous variants of system elements, enabling optimal customization to individual customer needs.
mp technology developed the mobile planning app for smarterion’s luxKit, which enables electricians to capture floor plans or import them as PDFs and then digitally place and configure luminaires. luxKit modular elements can be directly selected and configured within the app. The final plan is then converted into a complete and suitable parts list of the required individual components. This calculated parts list can be transmitted directly from the app to the electrician’s wholesale partner via Elbridge 2 and ordered there, or exported locally. The app also supports standard laser distance measurement devices, allowing measured lengths to be seamlessly integrated into the planning process.
Die App wurde von mp technology mit den Mobile Cross-Plattform Frameworks Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) und Compose Multiplatform (CMP) umgesetzt und unterstützt neben Android und iOS auch die Planung von luxKit LED Leuchten im Web Browser.
